Gears Of War – Patches:
The Gears of War for Windows Title Update fixes various performance issues, including the Games for Windows LIVE update issue. This update is only compatible with the North American, South American and, Western European versions of Gears of War. If you are running the Russian or Eastern European versions of Gears of War then you will be unable to install the update. The Eastern European versions of the game include the Polish, Czechoslovakian, and Hungarian language versions of Gears of War for Windows. This has no impact on single- or multiplayer gameplay/connectivity.

If you installed the patch and you cant get in the game at all, you don’t have to uninstall.
just go to the gears of war folders, find the folder BACKUP.
Rename UNPATCH.BAK to UNPATCH.BAT
and it will remove the patch so you can at least play single player!

Gears Of War – Installation:
1) Extract the rar’s with WinRar, 7-Zip, or WinAce
2) Mount or Burn the iso.
_____Mount: use the included Microsoft Virtual ROM tool,

_____Burn: burning software has the option to “Burn from Image”.

Before Playing:
You’ll need a free Ubi.com account to log in, and so the game will “Save”.
Go to Ubi.com, and at the top of the page click “Sign Up”.
Create a Username (carefull here! you’ll be stuck with it for all Ubi games).
The username you create will be your player name in all Ubi games
You will need to give a real email address. everything else can be fake.
If you enter an age below 18, you will not be allowed to sign up.

No more crashes at all or error messages on the screen,just created new profile and save at the checkpoints
P.S.I think most people main problem is one of the details I mentioned.
